JGC receives contract for lube-oil blending facility in Indonesia
JGC Indonesia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JGC Corp. (Yokohama, Japan; www.jgc.co.jp), has received a contract from the Indonesian subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell for construction of a lubricating-oil blending facility, also located in Indonesia. The lump-sum turnkey contract calls for the engineering, procurement, and construction work associated with a lubricating-oil blending facility with a yearly production capacity of 120,000 metric tons. The facility will be located in Bekasi on the island of Java. This lubricating oil blending facility will be the largest in the Republic of Indonesia built by an international company.
JGC Indonesia has experience performing support work on numerous local projects received by JGC Corporation, and has recently begun to take on its own EPC projects as a standalone agent.
