Adsorption and absorption play a big role in reducing air pollution in many applications around the world. Studies show that the largest single use of absorbers this year will be to capture SO2 from power-plant flue gas. Adsorbers will be used by many chemical process industries (CPI) to capture volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors.
