These IBCs don’t need vibrating discharge stations
A new range of this company’s Lynflow Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) have been designed specifically for the storage and transportation of difficult-flowing bulk materials. The polypropylene-molded IBCs are fully interchangeable with conventionally shaped bins, but have a smooth, low-friction internal surface, a unique geometry and a large-radius outlet. The product’s innovative outlet design prevents bridging and ratholing, and the material can flow from the IBC without the need for vibrating discharge stations, the company says. The new Lynflow IBCs are interchangeable with conventional IBCs, and are available in 0.5 to 3.0 ft3 sizes. They also have accreditation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and can be obtained for site trials to demonstrate their performance with minimal inconvenience and cost. — Ajax Equipment Ltd., Bolton, U.K.
