Tank-bottom valves now available in larger widths
Kate Torzewski
Vesta Tank Bottom Valves are used to shut off liquid media at vessels or tanks. Preferably installed at the lowest point of the tank bottom, their characteristic feature is shut-off at tank bottom level without any sump. The pocket-free design enables complete draining of the vessel and optimal clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP). Due to the compact design, these valves are also ideal for confined spaces. The new extended range includes the following sizes: DN 32, 40, 50, 65 (DIN pipe standard); ISO 42.4, 48.3 and 60.3 (ISO pipe standard); and OD 1.5, 2, 2.5 and 3 in. (OD pipe standard). The extended range of valves is available for manual operation with NC/NO pneumatic actuators made from synthetic material or stainless steel.
