Count and analyze particles in small-volume samples
The Pamas SBBS laboratory particle analyzer system has been upgraded to be equipped with an optional, small pressure-vessel container for handling small sample volumes (1–5 mL) of high-viscosity liquids, such as protein solutions. This new integrated pressure container is used to create either a high pressure or a vacuum atmosphere that is safely enclosed within a locked container. High pressure is used to transport the viscous liquid through the sensor for measurement, whereas the vacuum is used for removing bubbles from the sample. The new, smaller pressure container was developed for applications in the pharmaceutical industry. — Pamas Partikelmess- und Analysesysteme GmbH, Rutesheim, Germany
