A pressure transmitter that uses a thin-film sensor
To meet the requirements of the machinery standard EN13849-1, this company has developed the pressure transmitter Type F01. This pressure transmitter attains Performance Level (PLd), and can therefore be used for safety-relevant applications. The measuring element is a thin-film pressure sensor that is welded to the pressure port. The transmitter is available for pressure ranges from 100 to 1,000 bars, and features a 4–20-mA output, as well as a switching option. — Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH, Kaufbeuren, Germany
